General Information:

Math:  There will usually be Math homework every day except on Fridays.  We will not have Math homework when we               are doing State testing or MAP testing

 

Reading: 20 AR points due by October 12

              Study weekly vocabulary words.  Vocabulary tests will be on Fridays.

 

Spelling: Study words on List 4.  Trial tests are on Tuesdays.  Final tests are on Thursdays .  

              Work on Spelling activities which are due on Fridays.  (There will be no Spelling list for 3 day weeks.)

 

Language: We will be writing letters to soldiers in Iraq this week.  Know the 5 parts of a letter.

                Writing assignments will be periodic and will be cross-curricular.  For example, they may be asked to write                     a report on one of the famous explorers. 

 

Science:  Students should bring home their notes every night to study.

 

Social Studies:  Students should bring home their notes every night to study.
