All About Me

Hi! My name is Alane Reinert. I grew up on a farm two and a half miles east of Downs. I received my B.S. in Elementary Education from the University of Idaho in 1993 and my Masters degree in Instructional Technology from Kansas State University in 2001. While living in Idaho, I substituted full-time for twenty-five different K-12th grade schools in the states of Idaho and Washington, including the Nez Perce Indian Reservation. After returning to Kansas, I was a Title teacher at Glen Elder Junior High for two years, the 4th, 5th, & 6th grade Title teacher at Beloit Elementary for two years, and a First Grade teacher for seven years. I am also the Web Page Facilitator/Designer for BES.
I live in Downs with my eleven year-old daughter, Kaylynne. During the summer, I farm with my father, Richard Reinert. During the school year, I teach CCD classes, and am a member of the Nu Alpha Sorority of Beta Sigma Phi.
